Associated with the real estate group Magidas & Ruimy, Fastned will deploy its first two urban stations south of Paris.

Present in France since 2021, Fastned has a string of projects. Until now focused on deployments in motorway rest areas through calls for tenders won from APRR/AREA, Sanef and Vinci, the Dutch operator is preparing to deploy its first urban stations.

As part of a contract signed with the real estate group Magidas & Ruimy, Fastned will deploytwo stations in areas of commercial activity located south of Paris. The first will be installed on the outskirts of Melun, on the territory of the commune of Vert-Saint-Denis (Seine-et-Marne), while the second will be installed in Sainte-Geneviève-des-Bois (Essonne), at the level of the ZAC of La Croix Blanche. Each station will have 8-10 quick charge points.

“While roads are still too often equipped with slow charging infrastructure and many owners of electric vehicles do not have a charging point at home, we are proud to be able to provide them with fast charging solutions on their daily journey, reacted Pierre Courgeon, Country Manager of Fastned in France.
